About Chicago Friends School

Chicago Friends School is an independent elementary school. In the 2017–2018 school year, students are enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade. We are accepting enrollment through seventh grade for the 2018–2019 school year and through eighth grade for the 2019–2020 school year.

The school is built upon the principle that a child’s academic, emotional, physical, and spiritual development is all of one piece. We challenge students to think creatively and deeply, value the role of community in their own education, reach their highest potential, and begin the journey of discovering the very best in themselves.

The school is guided by the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and service.
