Admissions

Chicago Friends School is currently accepting applications for kindergarten through sixth grade for the 2017-2018 school year. Chicago Friends School has a rolling admissions policy.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

1. Application.
Please download and fill out our application and mail or email it to us.  There in a nonrefundable $75 fee for applications submitted or postmarked by Friday, April 28, 2017. For applications received after that date, the fee is $100.

2. Teacher Questionnaire.
Please download and have your child’s teacher fill out our teacher questionnaire.

3.  Financial Aid.
Financial assistance applications are due at the same time as the application for enrollment. If applicable, apply for financial aid at the FACTS website.

4.  Student Class Participation.
After the application materials are received, the admissions team will contact parents to schedule a morning for your child in the classroom.

5.  Family Meeting.
After the student participates in the classroom, the admissions team will contact parents to schedule a Family Meeting in order to learn more about your family and for you to learn more about us.  We feel it is important to understand parents’ perspectives and educational philosophy.

6.  Admission decision.

7.  Enrollment and Registration.
After acceptance, and having received your contract and deposit, we will give family details on the registration process.
